It's funny how after the abuse a body has suffered from itself, it starts to distrust you. Your veins start to hide under your skin. Your lips start to crack in the morning. You shake. Tremble. Can't concentrate. It goes pale and the purple of a new or old bruise shows up easily. It's like your body is trying to throw you out of the camouflage, shouting to the world "LOOK AT ME! I'M SICK! HELP!"
It's even funnier how after a few short years of being nice to your body it starts to trust you again. The veins are thick and rich in color against your skin again. Your lips are smooth until you bite them. The shaking stops. Your concentration is revived. You don't bruise as easily. Your body is ready to hide you again.
It's easy to break that trust again, you know. Your body isn't like your friend. It doesn't know how to walk away. It cant. It's attatched. It doesn't matter how many times you hurt it, it will still forgive you after a long apology.
